However, my older kids were laughing so much at this book, that my younger kids immediately understood that it was not to be taken seriously. As with the first book in the series, young children might not understand that this book is supposed to be funny. I said it in a joking voice so he would know that I was being silly and understand that this book was not really supposed to be scary. While I was reading this book to my 4 kids, I kept asking my four year old if he was okay and he wanted to me to stop.
